Educational and Professional Summary
Trinity Berguia is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #110080), supervised by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Camille Johnson (LMFT #81572) in private practice in San Luis Obispo. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a concentration on Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University, and her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. During her time at Cal Poly, Trinity earned awards for academic excellence, leadership, and as the outstanding graduate student in her graduating class.
Trinity has worked in several local non-profit agencies, a drug and alcohol treatment facility, a community mental health clinic and a group home. These positions allowed Trinity to gain experience in crisis work, trauma-informed care, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy and couples therapy. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults and elders.
Trinity is passionate about working with adolescents, adults, couples and families to build upon the existing strengths of these relationships. She uses a strengths-based approach to help empower clients to make decisions for themselves. Trinity firmly believes you hold all the answers to the questions you face, and it is her privilege to assist you in finding them.

Trinity grew up in Arroyo Grande and therefore has a deep appreciation for how our local community can positively impact our lives. When she’s not spending time with her husband and kids, she enjoys cooking, baking, writing, and drinking a good cup of coffee.
