Julie provides personalized therapy to adolescents, adults, and couples seeking assistance with anxiety, depression, and trauma. She also serves clients ready to focus on healthy communication and relationships. An adoptee, she's especially equipped to share adoption-related support.

Julie is honored to provide therapy services for adolescents, adults, and couples seeking greater wellbeing and help with anxiety, depression, trauma, healthy communication, and relationship skills. As an adoptee, she is especially attuned to providing adoption-related support. Caring and empathetic, Julie prioritizes your trust and safety.

After raising a family and working in public relations, she decided to switch her path in life and earn a master's degree in Clinical Psychology. Julie provided therapeutic services to clients in a Southern California community center before moving to San Luis Obispo and joining our team.

Julie is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #133608) supervised by Camille Johnson (LMFT #81572).

Therapeutic Approach

Julie offers therapy personalized to your individual needs, with an emphasis on client-centered talk therapy. She also practices in somatic, mindfulness, CBT, sand tray, and other evidence-based approaches in a culturally aware, intentional space. Clients who have experienced trauma will be supported with deep caring and gentleness. Julie will collaborate with you to illuminate your strengths, defenses and insights, while building tools you can access across the lifetime.

Good To Know

Outside the office, Julie is inspired by nature, music, movies, writing, and time with her children and friends. She's grateful for her doggie soulmates, Ruby and Louis, and loves living on California's Central Coast.
