Camille received her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara in June of 2009. She previously received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a Minor Degree in Biblical Studies from Biola University in 2005.
Camille has worked in the Human Services field since 2005 as a therapist, social worker for families, foster youth and adoptive children, bereavement counselor and clinical supervisor. She has worked with children, youth, parents, couples, adults and families struggling with many different areas of life (deep emotional pain and wounds, trauma, as well as relationship ruptures and mental wellness). She has worked in several different therapeutic realms in San Luis Obispo County and has provided individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, grief counseling, play therapy, in-home therapeutic services, behavior management, parenting skills training, and group facilitation.
Camille is a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and is Licensed (LMFT #81572) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Camille provides therapy to adolescents and adults for an array of different relational and emotional difficulties. The focus of therapy is on relationships, emotions, and thoughts. As your therapist, she will guide and walk alongside you on your personal journey. It is important to understand that a therapist does not fix you; however, they are a skilled and trained professional that will collaborate and partner with you to facilitate movement thought areas in your life that are not serving you well.
Camille uses an integrative approach in her practice, often drawing depth psychology and trauma-sensitive approaches with clients. She believes that people grow through relationship with others and self: therefore, during sessions you may discuss the relationships in your life as well as your therapeutic relationship with Camille.
In her free time Camille enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures, learning, coffee, nature, walking, journaling, self care, friendship, family time, cooking, and is an avid essential oil user. She enjoys taking life in moment by moment and spends time celebrating the small things.
