Trinity Berguia is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #110080), supervised by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Camille Johnson (LMFT #81572) in San Luis Obispo. She earned her Master of Science Degree in Psychology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2018 and graduated with honors and distinction. During her time at Cal Poly, Trinity earned awards for academic excellence, leadership, and as the outstanding graduate student in her graduating class. Trinity earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a concentration on Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University in 2016.
Trinity has worked in non-profit agencies, a drug and alcohol treatment facility, a community mental health clinic, and a group home. These positions allowed Trinity to gain experience in crisis work, trauma-informed care, individual therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. Trinity has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Trinity is passionate about working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families to build upon the existing strengths of these relationships. She takes a special interest in working with women experiencing infertility, perinatal, or postpartum issues. She uses a strengths-based approach to empower clients to make decisions for themselves. Trinity firmly believes you hold all the answers to the questions you face, and it is her privilege to assist you in finding them.

Trinity grew up in Arroyo Grande and as a result, has a deep appreciation for how our local community can positively impact our lives. When she is not working, Trinity enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, baking, and drinking too much coffee.
