Grief can be unpredictable. Some days feel sharp and overwhelming, others feel numb or distant. There’s no right way to grieve. Our grief counseling offers a space to feel, remember, and begin to heal.

Grief doesn’t follow a timeline. It doesn’t follow rules. Some days you might feel raw and overwhelmed. Other days you might feel oddly okay. And sometimes, both things are true at once. Whether you’re grieving the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or a major life shift, your experience matters.

Grief can show up after sudden loss, prolonged illness, miscarriage, estrangement, or even the loss of a future you imagined. We support people grieving loved ones, as well as those navigating therapy for complicated grief or ongoing waves of loss. Many clients also find us after searching for support for losing a loved one and realize they need time to make sense of their loss in a way that feels personal, not prescriptive.

What to Expect

Erase emotional barriers keeping your grief from taking its natural course. This might look like removing critical judgments we hold against ourselves like "I should" statements and beliefs. Step into a new phase of life that welcomes more love and understanding. 

Grief can bring up guilt, anger, confusion, and deep love all at once. Therapy can help you name and hold these emotions without needing to “get over it.” Our work together creates space for reflection and gently exploring what this loss means to you, when and if you’re ready.

Grief can also change how you see yourself. You might feel different in your day-to-day life, like something has shifted in how you move through the world. Maybe you're trying to understand who you are now, without a certain role, relationship, or routine. Therapy offers a place to explore those changes gently, with curiosity and compassion, one step at a time.
