About

A gentle and compassionate listener, you can rely on Audrey to support you in your journey of inner exploration and healing. Her clinical experience began at the Community Counseling Center where she gained a broad range of experience with children, teens, adults, and couples in groups, school settings, and short-term therapy. In private-practice, Audrey appreciates the long-term relationships she is able to form with her clients – supporting individuals and couples as they make meaning of symptoms, reconnect with fragmented parts of Self, and find deeper joy and meaning in their lives and relationships.

Audrey is a licensed through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #132113).

Therapeutic Approach

Holistic, affirming, and human, Audrey’s therapeutic approach starts by forming a meaningful connection with you. Within the safety of this therapeutic relationship, Audrey can support you in processing past trauma, managing challenging thoughts and feelings, and realigning with the natural wisdom of the body. Audrey blends the insights of trauma-informed practice with the power of somatic and depth psychotherapy to allow for exploration of the mind and body; as well as integration of dreams, memories, and unconscious material. In her work with couples, Audrey utilizes training and skills from the Gottman Method, as well as research on desire and attachment from the work of Emily Nagoski. As your therapist, Audrey is devoted to listening, honoring your unique story, and helping you feel more empowered.

Therapeutic Training

Audrey’s post-graduate educational interests center around attachment and work with couples; depth therapy; and trauma-informed somatic therapy. She has completed Levels 1 and 2 in The Gottman Method Couple’s Therapy; completed a course in Sex, Desire and Attachment from researcher and author Emily Nagoski; and is currently completing a certificate program in Traumatic Stress Studies from the Trauma Research Foundation.
