About
Cassidy offers therapy to adolescents, adults, families, and couples motivated to
pursue healing in their lives and relationships. Her understanding of psychotherapy
draws from experiences in mentoring adolescents as a backpacking guide to serving
students as a RYT-200 yoga teacher and Trauma-Informed Yoga Instructor (TIYT).
She’s also worked in community mental health clinics, school-based settings, and
private practice where she has supported individuals and families experiencing
distress, relationship issues, and complex trauma.
Cassidy is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #138072) supervised by Camille Johnson (LMFT #81572).
Therapeutic Approach
Cassidy is person-centered and focused on building a safe, secure and collaborative
therapeutic relationship. Her approach is informed by a variety of frameworks
including Attachment, Narrative and Experiential-based theories. Through these
modalities she will help you explore and reconnect with your thoughts and emotions,
body, relationships, and your own story. She believes people have the innate ability
to grow, and her hope is that you may experience places of healing and restoration in your life.
Therapeutic Training
Level 1 AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dydactic Psychotherapy)
